Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Job Summary:
Provides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Process 3‑way P.O. matching invoices
- Process check requests and warranty claims
- Clear wire transfer and auto withdrawal payments
- Assist with weekly check run
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or
Experience:
- One to two years’ experience in Accounts Payable preferred
- High school diploma or GED required, college courses in accounting preferred
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
- Detail oriented, organized, reliable, self‑starter
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, 10‑key by touch, and ERP system experience is a plus
- Ability to type 60‑65 wpm
- Strong problem‑solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi‑tasking skills
- Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast‑paced and high‑volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately

Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.71/hour
