Position: Staff Accountant (Duluth, MN)

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes. In addition to general ledger work and account reconciliations, you’ll play a key role in inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of fuel and propane inventory across multiple locations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of GAAP.

Pay

$50,000 – $55,000 annually, based on experience

What You’ll Do
  • Daily A/R balancing
  • Daily Inventory Costing
  • Daily Inventory Balancing
  • Various Customer Billing
  • Bill of Lading Entry into Accounting System
  • Assist Controller with financial statement reconciliation
  • Inspect data for efficiency and accuracy
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors
