Our client is hiring a Staff Accountant to support Fixed Assets in Duluth, GA. This is a fully in-office role with a well-established national company thats adding to its accounting team. Youll report to the Fixed Asset Manager and play a hands-on part in the month-end close, reconciliations, and keeping the books clean and accurate. Its a great next step for a Staff Accountant with a few years under their belt who wants deeper exposure to fixed assets and the full close cycle.
Youll have a team that leans on you and a role that gives you room to grow.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close
- Balance the general ledger and support financial statement preparation
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable regularly to keep the data accurate and complete
- Keep vendor records current in the accounting system and help with collections and chargebacks
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant background is a great fit)
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and strong Excel skills
