• Participate in field activities on projects with varying levels of complexity and construction conditions.
• Provide on‑site representation for a variety of transportation projects, supporting tasks such as documentation, material testing, survey coordination, and more.
• Travel to project sites as needed to complete field responsibilities.
• Apply engineering and technical knowledge to support construction‑related duties.
• Assist with field observations on less complex construction projects to ensure conformance with contract documents.
• Maintain daily documentation of certified work and enter quantities into record‑keeping systems or contract administration software.
• Communicate regularly with engineers, contractors, landowners, utility companies, and public stakeholders regarding project progress and concerns.
• Support monitoring of contractor schedules and construction progress, reporting updates to senior construction staff and project managers.
• Assist in developing project punch lists and compiling final documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
• Help prepare record drawings and maintain project files and digital records.
• Monitor contractor activities on‑site under direct supervision.
• Handle basic issues independently and elevate more complex matters to senior staff.
• Possess a foundational to intermediate understanding of construction practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong multi‑tasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to calculate project quantities accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Willingness to learn construction administration software
