Opportunity: OB Fellowship - Family Medicine

This is a one-year fellowship designed for Family Medicine physicians seeking advanced training in Obstetrics, with a focus on preparing physicians for practice in rural locations. Job Details:

• Comprehensive one-year fellowship program for Family Medicine physicians
• Six months dedicated to routine and high-risk obstetrics management
• Develop competence in operative deliveries and Cesarean sections
• Expand skills in ultrasound, newborn resuscitation/stabilization, and colposcopy
• Curriculum includes 24 weeks obstetrics, 12 weeks outpatient primary care, 8 weeks emergency medicine/trauma/critical care, and 4 weeks electives
• Participate in education of University of Minnesota medical students and Duluth Family Medicine residents
• 1-2 positions offered annually with stipend
• Prerequisites: MD/DO degree, completion of 3-year ACGME or AOA accredited family medicine residency, board certified or board eligible, and Minnesota medical license
• Applications accepted January 1-October 1, with selections typically made by December 1

Compensation:
