Upper School Part‑time Social Studies - Long‑Term Substitute 2025
Position OverviewMarshall School seeks a dynamic and versatile educator to be a long‑term substitute for the spring semester for three sections of high school social studies. The courses will meet every other day.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Studies, Political Science, Geography or Education or similar.
- A love for teaching adolescents, a passion for social studies education, and a commitment to student‑centered education.
- A strong desire to work closely with students and colleagues in and out of the classroom.
- 2+ years prior teaching experience or equivalent.
- A master’s degree is preferred.

Salary range is based on years of experience:
- 0‑10 years $34,619 - $48,691/year
- 11‑20 years $47,340 - $56,908/year
- 21‑30 years $55,214 - $65,035/year
- 31‑40 years $61,055 - $69,163/year
This is a .6 position for one semester. The numbers above represent a full 1.0 salary range for a full year.
