Anatomy & Physiology Lab Teaching Assistant
Assist anatomy & physiology lab instructors with teaching labs to BIO 2510 & BIO 2520 students. This may involve teaching small groups without direct assistance from instructor
Job Duties
- Grade & alphabetize anatomy and/or physiology assignments/quizzes and anatomy lab practical
- Effectively communicate and problem solve with students for various concepts in anatomy and physiology
- Encourage effective learning strategies for students
- Cleaning and organizing lab and classroom spaces
- Maintaining donor bodies in anatomy lab (if TAing for review hours or anatomy labs)
Required Qualifications
- Must be a CSS student
- Completed BIO 2510 & BIO 2520 at CSS
- Ability to work independently
- Being flexible as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds (when moving donor bodies from prone [face down] to supine [face up])
- Federal Work Study eligibility preferred
