Ecolibrium3 (Eco3) is a nonprofit organization based in Duluth, MN that works at the intersection of energy, community, and economic development. Eco3 has been nationally recognized for innovative programs that provide on‑ground experience for Ameri Corps members. The Ecolibrium3 Energy Training Corps is a direct‑service program serving as a step into the growing energy workforce and construction trades. Energy Training Corps members will contribute to improving our local housing stock while gaining hands‑on technical skills.

As a member, you will be trained to conduct home energy assessments, perform energy improvements, and lower resident utility bills.

• Recruitment:
  Recruit Energy Training Corps candidates and households through community canvassing, recruitment portal, phone, email, tabling events, etc.
• Energy Assessments:
  Learn basic techniques for conducting comprehensive home energy assessments, using diagnostic tools to identify areas of energy loss and inefficiency.
• Energy Improvements:
  Learn basic techniques for performing holistic energy improvement measures, such as air‑sealing, insulation, and combustion safety analysis.
• Training & Development:
  Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in residential energy improvements and job‑site safety.
• Farming & Disaster Preparedness:
  Assist in cultivating plants for green infrastructure installations and increase resident food access.
• Direct Service & Community Capacity Building:
  Activities related to ensuring energy and food affordability for the community.
