R&D Tech – Level 1 or 2

We are seeking great talent to help us build The DNA of tech.

This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility near Airpark Blvd and Haines Road.

• Uses schematics, diagrams, and verbal descriptions to perform testing of products and equipment.
• Uses test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test equipment in support of R&D engineering.
• Build prototypes and related hardware including test fixtures, mechanical enclosures, assembly jigs and production tooling.
• Production line engineering support leader – addresses equipment issues and line-down situations.
• Performs qualification testing on new products.
• Performs Xray analysis on space grade products.
• Obeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experienced with operation of electrical engineering test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, power supplies. Understands electrical schematics and wiring diagrams and the general characteristics of electronic components. Skilled with hand soldering, PCBA construction, and the use of common shop tools. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures.

Associate degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited college or technical school or equivalent military related training with 0-3 years of prior related experience. Job training and orientation time required to perform the job satisfactorily is expected to be less than 2 months.

• 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Work hours:

Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM

Pay: $23-24/hr starting pay (additional compensation may be added based on experience)
