ASPIRUS ST. LUKE'S ADMINISTRATION in Duluth, MN is seeking a QUALITY REVIEW ANALYST to join our QUALITY MANAGEMENT team!
Salary Range
: $34.19 - $49.57 Hourly

Is responsible for reviewing cases for all of the following registries/databases: STS (cardiac surgery), Acute Myocardial Infarction, ICD (implantable cardiac defibrillator), PCI (percutaneous cardiac intervention), stroke, and other registries as needed. Abstracts data from all applicable cases into each registry or database, assuring that standards for data accuracy and timeliness are met. Prepares reports for designated individuals and committees. Assists in organizational and departmental quality improvement projects, certifications, and process improvement efforts.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field - Experience:
At least one (1) year of recent experience in quality, informatics, health information management, medical records, or related field - Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within three (3) years of hire into position.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of statistical calculations, information display techniques and automated information systems. Skills in organizing work efficiently. Ability to work independently; demonstrate attention to detail; aptitude for accuracy and ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. - WRITING - Intermediate:
Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures. - SPEAKING - Intermediate:
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. - MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. - REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
