Youth In-Home Services Worker (IHSW, DSP)

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a part-time Independent Living Skills Worker (IHSW) for our In-Home Youth, Families, & Respite program in Duluth, MN. As an IHSW, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most independent lives.

Salary: $20.25-$21.25 per hour, reduced rate for asleep overnight hours.

• Serve youth and young adults living in private home settings.
• Help individuals achieve maximum level of independence by providing skill training and supports needed to perform everyday tasks.
• Work collaboratively with the person and their support team to implement supports plans that will help them achieve independence in a variety of skill areas, including

• Physical and personal needs
• Communication
• Household management
• Community living/mobility
• Reduction/elimination of maladaptive behavior
• Sensory/motor development
• Socialization
• Vocational and educational
• Health and wellness

• A valid driver’s license with no restrictions and a working vehicle.
• A two‑year degree in behavioral science or related field preferred OR
• One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• To pass a post‑offer background check and Motor Vehicle Report check.
