Youth In-Home Services Worker (IHSW, DSP)
Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a part-time Independent Living Skills Worker (IHSW) for our In-Home Youth, Families, & Respite program in Duluth, MN. As an IHSW, you will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most independent lives.
Salary: $20.25-$21.25 per hour, reduced rate for asleep overnight hours.

- Serve youth and young adults living in private home settings.
- Help individuals achieve maximum level of independence by providing skill training and supports needed to perform everyday tasks.
- Work collaboratively with the person and their support team to implement supports plans that will help them achieve independence in a variety of skill areas, including
- Physical and personal needs
- Communication
- Household management
- Community living/mobility
- Reduction/elimination of maladaptive behavior
- Sensory/motor development
- Socialization
- Vocational and educational
- Health and wellness
- A valid driver’s license with no restrictions and a working vehicle.
- A two‑year degree in behavioral science or related field preferred OR
- One year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
- To pass a post‑offer background check and Motor Vehicle Report check.
