Counselor – Opioid Substance Abuse
The Center for Alcohol & Drug Treatment is looking for a compassionate LADC/ADC‑T to provide direction and support to patients. You will actively help patients build coping mechanisms, listen, ask necessary questions, and develop effective strategies to improve their lives. Within Clearpath, you will work with patients specifically with opioid substance abuse, managing a caseload of up to 60 patients and meeting with them at least once a month.

- Consultation with other professionals
- Facilitate group and individual counseling with patients to determine appropriate course of treatment.
- Create effective treatment plans that include counseling, case management, or other services within the 12 core functions.
- Discuss treatment plan goals with patients regularly to identify deficits or areas for improvement.
- Educate patients about appropriate coping mechanisms to help them through tough situations.
- Record patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Licensed by the state of Minnesota as an LADC; or
- Hold a temporary ADC‑T permit; or
- Hold a license in a behavioral health field such as LSW, LPCC, LISW, LICSW, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude to empathize with clients and help them open up.
- Good time‑management skills.
- Proven experience in developing effective treatment plans.
- Hourly Pay: $24‑$32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
