This position is responsible for the acquisition of MRI scans of patients of all ages for diagnostic and/or research purposes, utilizing advanced aspects of computer assisted, digital image recording and analysis systems. Provides optimal patient care utilizing establishes and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Radiography program.

  A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.

• Three years' previous MRI Tech Experience (within the last five years) required.

• MRI Experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

• Must be registered in MRI by the ARRT within two years of hire/transfer to the position

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 1 month of hire/transfer
