Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a full-time Independent Living Skills Counselor (IHSC) for our In-Home Adult program in Duluth, MN. You will help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most independent lives. Shifts: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Weekends are based on home needs.
Salary: $21.75‑$22.75 per hour

What you’ll do as an Independent Living Skills Counselor:You will serve adults living in private home settings, helping them achieve maximum independence through skill training and supports for everyday tasks. You will assess needs and collaborate with the person and their support team to develop and implement support plans for independence across various skill areas.

- A valid driver’s license with no restrictions and a working vehicle
- Education/
Experience:- 1. Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field, or
- 2. Four years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, or
- 3. Associate’s degree in behavioral science or related field and two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Pass a post‑offer background check and Motor Vehicle Report check
RSI has been working in communities in Minnesota since 1978, providing in‑home and community‑based services to people living with disabilities and mental illness.
