The Psychotherapist role is responsible for providing individual, family, couples, or group psychotherapy services to diverse clientele from a client centered and culturally responsive stance. Services are provided in an outpatient and/or telehealth setting.
Clinicians who identify as BIPOC or as members of historically marginalized/underserved groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
This is an independent contractor role, as opposed to an employee role. While this role isnoteligible for benefits or insurance, it allows for self-determination in work hours and work settings. To maintain the contractual relationship, contract psychotherapists are required to adhere to the practices and standards dictated by their licensing board, and their contracts with 3rd party payers. Canopy MHC’s clinical manager will provide oversight to ensure compliance with these standards.
The Contract Psychotherapist is paid by insurance reimbursement and/or client payments from their billed sessions. Canopy offers competitive clinician/practice split options. These are determined on a quarterly basis as noted below:
