The Surgical Technologist will support plastic surgery procedures in an on-site clinical and operating room setting located in Duluth, GA. This part-time role involves preparing operating rooms, sterilizing and organizing instruments, and ensuring that equipment and supplies are ready for each procedure. The Surgical Technologist will assist the surgical team by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon during facial and body contouring surgeries.

Daily responsibilities also include handling specimens, managing surgical counts, adhering to safety and infection-control protocols, sterilization of instruments based on specific guidelines, and collaborating with nurses and other medical staff to provide safe, efficient patient care. The role may include participation in preoperative setup and postoperative room turnover and requires consistent adherence to clinic standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Candidates should possess skills in Surgical Technology, including instrument handling, sterile technique, and OR preparation.
• Candidates should possess skills related to the Operating Room environment, such as maintaining a sterile field, equipment setup, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Candidates should possess skills in Surgical Assisting, including anticipating surgeon needs, passing instruments, and supporting facial and body contouring procedures.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and Surgery, with an understanding of perioperative workflows and patient safety standards.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program; certification (CST) preferred.
• Previous experience in plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, or related surgical specialties is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Effective communication, teamwork skills, and a commitment to respectful, patient-centered care.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, follow written and verbal instructions, and comply with all infection-control and safety regulations.
