Caregiver, Direct Support Professional​/ Direct Care

Join a mission-driven team as a Caregiver, providing community-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
• Help participants achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
• Develop meaningful relationships and promote community engagement
• Take initiative to support participants in enjoying activities and living fulfilling lives

• High school diploma or equivalent (experience in human services preferred)
• Six months of relevant experience preferred
• Strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Patience, compassion, reliability, and responsibility
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance

• Support participants’ personal and community involvement needs
• Build trust and foster independence
• Support behavioral and developmental goals
