Join Sheraton Duluth Hotel as a Housekeeper at Sheraton Duluth Hotel
. This role is part of Sherman Associates, a Marriott International franchise.
Full- or part-time employment available. Both weekday and weekend availability strongly preferred.
Pay$16.50 per hour.
Essential Functions- Clean guest rooms in accordance with established quality standards.
- Report lost and found items from guest rooms.
- Enter rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy.
- Replace dirty linens and towels, make beds, fold towels, and clean bathrooms.
- Replace guest room amenities and supplies.
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
- Check that all appliances are present and in working order.
- Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties.
- Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
- Organize and stock cleaning cart and linen closets.
- Perform other duties as requested (e.g., cleaning unexpected spills, executing special guest requests).
- Report or communicate any maintenance needs found while cleaning.
- Assist other housekeeping associates in maintaining clean, organized work and public areas.
- Anticipate customer needs and change goals quickly.
- Maintain excellent customer service and relations with guests, visitors, vendors, and internal or external organizations.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
- Meet standards for room completion with quality results.
- No prior housekeeping experience required; customer service experience in hospitality strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multilingual environment.
- Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

- Schedule may vary due to hotel needs.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and federal, state, and local hotel health and safety laws.
