AHL Health Care Group is hiring a Human Resources Generalist/Receptionist to join our Duluth corporate office! This role will focus on recruitment, onboarding and general receptionist duties. AHL is a growing agency that provides a variety of services including Adult Foster Care, Assisted Living, Intensive Residential Treatment Services and Community-Based Services. • Downtown Duluth corporate office
• In‑office role

• Full‑time
• Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, with 30‑minute lunch break

• From $23.00/hour

• Source potential candidates using applicant tracking system and various external platforms
• Post and update job openings in systems
• Screen incoming applications by completing phone screens and schedule interviews
• Assist with interviewing candidates as needed
• Facilitate onboarding for new employees
• Oversee new hire training process
• Participate in job fairs and host in‑house recruitment events
• Run the front desk including checking in visitors
• Answer phones and direct calls
• Open and close office each day
• Take payments for rent
• Tidy up general office space as needed including light end of week cleaning tasks
• Assist HR team with various projects
• Other duties as assigned

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or another related field
• Knowledge and understanding of current state and federal employment law
• Competent with various software packages including Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass MVR check, maintain a valid driver's license and insurance, and a state background check clearance
