The HR Support Center Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and transactions, and is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and high-quality responses to HR inquiries regarding recruiting, onboarding, data maintenance, payroll, benefits, HR policy and procedure, and the overall maurices associate experience via case, email, and phone.
The HR Support Center Coordinator helps deliver consistent associate experience by documenting case activity, resolving Tier 1 inquiries and escalating complex issues appropriately. Additionally, the HR Coordinator is responsible for HR department administrative support including data entry, auditing, mailings, reporting, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for all HR related inquiries from associates, leader and HR partners through case, email and phone channels.
- Partner HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, Leave of Absence, Total Rewards, Field HR and other business partners to provide accurate and timely responses to questions related to HR policies, processes, systems, onboarding, data changes payroll, benefits and general associate experience topics.
- Triage and elevate complex, sensitive or specialized questions to the appropriate HR partner or functional team.
- Properly document actions taken to resolve cases, including all verbal and digital correspondence.
- Support employee lifecycle administration, including recruiting, onboarding, data maintenance, status changes, employment verifications, background checks, unemployment claims, subpoenas and other HR transactions as assigned.
- Assist with Workday and related HR system questions, process steps and troubleshooting within defined scope.
- Support HR compliance processes within defined role scope.
- Support new hire documentation, onboarding task completion, I-9 and e-Verify administration and required acknowledgements.
- Support the HR Operations team, and the larger HR team, with special projects, seasonal work, process changes, audits, mailings, reporting and administrative needs as assigned.
- Ensure all service delivery targets are met, including quality and performance metrics.
- Use sound judgment to balance policy, process and confidentiality to deliver a great associate experience.
- Provide compassionate, professional and solution-oriented support to associates and leaders.
- Education:
Two-year degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred. - Experience:
