Description
As an Associate Service Now Consultant, you will be joining our dynamic team of professionals dedicated to delivering top-notch IT solutions to our valued clients. This entry-level position is tailored for fresh college graduates who have a passion for technology and a solid foundation in computer science, MIS, or a related technical field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior consultants to analyze client requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of client/server applications, utilizing programming languages such as C/C++, Java, JavaScript, and other scripting languages.
- Work alongside experienced consultants to design and optimize relational databases for enhanced system performance.
We are looking for someone whose coursework has exposed them to:
- Experience with programming languages such as C/ C++, Java, JavaScript, or other scripting languages
- Experience building client/server applications
- Experience with relational databases
- Customer-Oriented Individual You enjoy working for the client, understanding their requirements, and transforming them into IT solutions
- Strong Communication You are someone who can effectively speak with customers daily and have strong interpersonal skills
- Effective Time Management You can handle multiple projects and have the organization skills to balance them
- Certifications:
Relevant certifications like Service Now CSA or CIS are advantageous. - ITIL Knowledge:
Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus. - Agile Familiarity:
Understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is beneficial. - Project Management Basics:
Proficiency in project management principles is useful. - Scripting/Automation
Skills:
Advanced skills in languages like Python or Power Shell are beneficial. - Service Now Integrations:
Knowledge of integrating Service Now with other systems is an asset. - Industry-Specific Knowledge:
Understanding of specific industries' IT needs is advantageous. - Problem-Solving Aptitude:
Demonstrated success in tackling complex technical challenges is valuable. - Open Source or Side Projects:
Involvement in coding projects showcases a proactive learning approach.
