The Law Offices of Gary Martin Hays & Associates is seeking a confident, detail-oriented individual to fill an immediate opening as a bilingual English/Spanish Legal Assistant. Experience in the area of personal injury litigation is preferred, but not required. However, general litigation knowledge, skill, and experience from start to finish, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, are required. This is a full-time position consisting of 37.50 hours per week.

• You’ll work with a team to prepare a variety of legal documents and handle office correspondence like answering emails and phone calls, scheduling meetings, and more.
• Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently
• Conduct legal research, when necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals

• Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or office environment as an administrative assistant or secretary
• Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs

$16 - $20 hourly
