Facility:
This facility features a modern orthopedic urgent care center with three exam rooms, a dedicated cast room, and a state-of-the-art Radiology Suite. Operating as a free-standing location away from the main campus, it provides specialized orthopedic urgent care services to the community with a focus on immediate treatment needs.

Advanced Practice Clinician - Orthopedic Urgent Care

Job Details:
• .6 FTE position for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with background in Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care
• VERY independent practice model with support from onsite radiology tech and athletic trainer
• Advanced Practitioners will comprise the core staff, with MD oversight from orthopedics
• Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
• Works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provides initial workup and medical care only, with all follow-up care done by referral
• No follow-up care responsibilities
• Emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention
• Position requires high level of customer service skills
• Work shifts will be three 12-hour days for a full-time employee or variation of these hours
• Staffing model:
Monday-Friday 12:00 p.m.

- 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m.

- 4:00 p.m.
• NP qualification:
Master's degree in nursing
• PA qualification:
Bachelor's degree in a health/science-related field
