Provide nursing care for patients receiving diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic radiology services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients before procedures and monitor condition throughout radiology care.
- Administer and monitor moderate and deep sedation in accordance with safety standards.
- Educate patients to prepare them for procedures and promote informed participation.
- Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care outcomes.
- Delegate tasks to appropriate team members within scope of practice.
- Registered nursing capability to provide procedural and sedation-related patient care.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills.
- Competence in moderate and deep sedation administration and vigilance for patient safety.
- Effective patient education, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Sound judgment and knowledge of scope-based delegation.
