Cake Decorator

Job Overview

Cub Duluth is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a full‑time cake decorator position! Cake Decorators provide quality bakery products that meet the customer needs, ensure customer satisfaction and a positive shopping experience.

• Prepare bakery products
• Stock, rotate and face bakery products
• Ensure adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies
• Perform clean‑up of department
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests

• Equipment operation (spatula, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, bakery rack)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service
• Good judgment is required as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
• Understanding and following verbal or demonstrated instructions; writing identifying information; requesting supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age and older

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions
• Extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
