- Handle all phases of underground construction including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of construction materials and equipment.
- Assist the Inventory Specialist with staging materials for specific jobs.
- Maintain the location’s inventory, reconcile physical inventory, and offload/load trucks.
- Track, receive, and verify new material shipments and coordinate handling and storage as they arrive.
- Sustain organization of inventory.
- Maintain a clean and orderly shop and yard area.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Reasoning ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to solve problems with multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of internet software, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Valid DOT health card certificate.
- Forklift certification.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record;
Class A license preferred. - Travel may be required.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Frequently sit, stand, or walk.
- Stand on a concrete surface frequently.
- Kneel, squat, bend, and twist on a concrete surface frequently.
- Use hearing and sight frequently.
- Occasionally work in adverse weather conditions.
- Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Work in a frequently loud environment.
