What You’ll Do
  • Handle all phases of underground construction including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of construction materials and equipment.
  • Assist the Inventory Specialist with staging materials for specific jobs.
  • Maintain the location’s inventory, reconcile physical inventory, and offload/load trucks.
  • Track, receive, and verify new material shipments and coordinate handling and storage as they arrive.
  • Sustain organization of inventory.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly shop and yard area.
  • Assist with inventory counts.
  • Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one or small group settings.
  • Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Reasoning ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to solve problems with multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of internet software, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Valid DOT health card certificate.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record;
    Class A license preferred.
  • Travel may be required.
Physical Abilities & Exposures
  • Wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Frequently sit, stand, or walk.
  • Stand on a concrete surface frequently.
  • Kneel, squat, bend, and twist on a concrete surface frequently.
  • Use hearing and sight frequently.
  • Occasionally work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis; occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Work in a frequently loud environment.
