Pay Range: $22.50–$27.90 hourly. Shift: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays, 5 am start, 4:30 pm end.

Job Summary:

Safely operate a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.

• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and company fleet standards; maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using standard DVIR; note issues for corrective review.
• Immediately report unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.
• Participate and cooperate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required.
• Work closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
• Notify Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Notify Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick‑ups or problems that arise on the route.
• Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
• Completely dump all containers and leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris.
• Complete and submit customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
• Position containers on the customer’s property so lids are properly replaced, containers are set upright, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
• Follow route assignments throughout the day and complete all documentation when checking in at the end of the route.

• Commercial Driver’s License Class B (CDL). Minimum age 18.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check (employment and motor‑vehicle record).
