Pharmacy Technician

Complete Rx is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Moore County Hospital District, a 25-bed acute care facility in Dumas, TX.

• Full-Time position: 32 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday)
• Hours:
  
  8am - 5pm (1-hour lunch)
• The pharmacy is closed on the evenings and weekends.

• Earn your IV Certification with on-the-job training.

• Ensures procurement and distribution of drug orders.
• Identifies and fills replacement medications on emergency crash carts, OR carts and floor stock accurately.
• Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition) accurately.
• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately.
• Rotates stock to ensure use before expiration date.
• Picks up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.
• Enters charges and credits for patient medications accurately.
• Identifies and replaces outdated and unusable drugs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of pharmacy technician experience is a plus.
• Possess current pharmacy technician license in the State of Texas.
• Possess current National Pharmacy Technician certification.
• Possess I.V. certification or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire date and we will train.
• Successful completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training course is a plus.
