Bring your energy to Aggreko as a HSE Specialist based in our Lomondgate Production Facility.
As a HSE Specialist you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the organisation’s Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and internal frameworks, maintaining Legal Compliance Registers and adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and global HSE standards.
- Lead and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions and trend analysis to reduce risk and prevent recurrence.
- Help teams create, share, and train on risk assessments.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations, supporting ongoing improvements.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by working closely with people, coaching, delivering HSE training and inductions, tracking KPIs, advising and coaching stakeholders, and leading HSE committees and improvement initiatives.
- Degree or diploma qualification in a relevant Occupational Health and Safety Management discipline, ideally supported by recognised Health and Safety learning, with professional IOSH membership desirable.
- Operative experience in an HSE Advisor/Specialist/Officer role, with proven leadership skills, and the ability to influence and coach the workforce.
- Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO standards, with excellent analytical, problem‑solving, reporting, communication, training and coaching skills.
- Highly organised and self‑motivated, with strong time‑management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems, experience in manufacturing or similar environment preferred.
