Overview
A Service Planner based in our Lomondgate depot will coordinate and schedule technician resources across multiple depots to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery of field service operations. The role is for an initial 12‑month contract.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily scheduling and deployment of field technicians across three UK depots, ensuring efficient coverage of customer sites.
- Allocate resources to emergency breakdowns, planned maintenance, installations, and decommissioning activities.
- Manage technician onboarding requirements, including site inductions and readiness for assignments.
- Work closely with Service Managers, depots, and operational teams to deliver work safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Provide outstanding customer service while supporting the wider business with planning, administrative, and organisational activities.
- Proven experience working in a fast‑paced, reactive environment where priorities can change quickly.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with business systems such as Salesforce highly desirable.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
