Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Graduate Mechanical Engineer based in Dumbarton. You'll support the design, development, and improvement of mechanical systems for our global product range, delivering reliable and efficient solutions.

• Design new products, systems, and components using engineering best practices.
• Support the design, development, integration, and validation of mechanical systems.
• Create Bills of Materials, technical specifications, and test procedures.
• Support continuous improvement of existing products and adapt designs for new applications.
• Provide mechanical engineering support to manufacturing, operations, and technical investigations.

• Degree Qualified Mechanical Engineering Graduate (or similar) with a 2:1 or above preferred.
• Strong in mechanical design principles (thermal, stress, vibration, flow, and noise).
• Proficient in 3D CAD & Simulation Tools (e.g., Creo, Solidworks, Ansys) is desirable.
• Able to interpret requirements, produce engineering solutions, and detailed specifications.
• A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
