Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: West Glasgow
Salary: up to £47,000 (incl. Flexibility Allowance)
Shift: Days (Mon–Fri, 07:30–16:00)

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy‑industrial manufacturing site in West Glasgow. The role is part of a hands‑on engineering team supporting a physically demanding production environment with large machines and moving equipment. You will maintain electrical reliability across the site, carry out fault‑finding, planned maintenance and support breakdown response, working on drives, motors and control systems.

• Maintain electrical reliability across the site.
• Carry out fault finding for production machinery.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance.
• Support breakdown response to minimise downtime.
• Assist with ongoing improvements and upgrades across the plant.

• Required: Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Multi‑skilled experience in heavy industrial or FMCG environment.
• PLC experience and ability to fault‑find PLCs.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Experience working on production machinery.
• Knowledge of motors, drives and control systems.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and safe working practices.
• Physically fit.
• Desirable: Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems.

• Day shift (Mon‑Fri, 07:30–16:00).
• Stable long‑term engineering team.
• Salary up to £47,400 inclusive of Flexibility Allowance.
