le = Reporting to senior management, you will take responsibility for delivering accurate financial information, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting operational performance across the deale

Preparation of monthly management accounts

• Balance sheet reconciliations*
• Budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitoring cash flow and working capital
• VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements
• Sales, stock, and profitability analysis
• Supporting departmental managers with financial reporting and decision-making
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Liaising with external auditors and professional advisors
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused individual who has experience working within motor retail or a fast-paced commercial environment

• Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role with Automotive
• Strong management accounting and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business
• Previous experience within the motor retail or automotive sector
• Experience with dealer management systems
• Understanding of vehicle stock accounting and manufacturer reporting
