We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a new build retail development in Dumfries. This is a 20‑week contract, starting April 2026, offering the opportunity to manage a high‑profile project from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Full site management of the new build retail project
- Coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards
- Monitoring progress, budgets, and schedules
- Reporting to the project management team
- Proven experience as a site manager in retail or commercial construction
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid understanding of construction methods, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Duration: 20 weeks

Dumfries, Scotland - Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
