We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist to join our client's esteemed medical team in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. In this role, you will provide expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the highest standards of patient care. Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases. You will conduct patient consultations, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Your role includes managing both outpatient and inpatient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in clinical governance and audit activities. You will also be involved in teaching and training junior staff, staying updated on the latest advancements in rheumatology, and contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives.
Your expertise and dedication will be crucial in delivering exceptional patient outcomes and advancing the field of rheumatology.
Requirements:
- GMC registered
- CCT
- Extensive experience in rheumatology, including a high level of competence in diagnosing and managing rheumatic diseases
