Assistant Young Stock Manager – Farming Partners

We have a unique opportunity to be part of a Grassland Young stock Rearing Team looking after 1600 dairy replacements at our
Overgarrel Farm
. This is at Assistant Manager level as a current team member is moving closer to family.

Overgarrel Farm looks after the young stock for 3 of our neighbouring dairy units. The role specifically follow the cycle of block calving. Calf rearing in Spring and managing young stock at grass the remainder of the year. Dairy replacements stay at Overgarrel from 1 day old until they are ready to return home at 24 months for calving themselves.

• Passion for working with young stock
• Some experience of looking after a team
• Enjoy the ups and downs of a block calf rearing system
• Have a love for grassland farming
• A full UK Driving license
