We are seeking an Instructor to deliver mandatory and in‑house training courses to professionals within the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry. The Commercial Development and Delivery Team is responsible for delivering a variety of professional qualifications, including certificated and bespoke courses, in a College that aims to be one step ahead.
Responsibilities- Deliver mandatory and bespoke training courses to the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector.
- Facilitate courses such as REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene, Customer Service, Introduction to Hospitality, Licence Holders Training, and Practical Cooking Skills.
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging training sessions in a live classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate training records and provide feedback reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of course delivery through session evaluations and updates.
- Relevant industry certification, such as food hygiene and licence holders.
- Practical experience working within a care setting is essential.
- A Group Training Certificate or similar is desirable.
- Experience delivering mandatory or certificated training courses (e.g., Moving and Handling, Infection Control, Medication Awareness) is desirable.
- Strong customer‑service, organisational, team‑working and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job‑specific systems.
- Adaptability to evolving digital tools and a willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Fixed‑term contract with a timesheet wage of £19.43 per hour.
