SEPA in Scotland is launching the 2026 Trainee Environment Protection Officer Programme across multiple locations, including Dumfries and Ayr. You will join one of our frontline teams for a structured two-year training to gain regulatory skills in inspections, data review and enforcement actions.
On completion you will secure a permanent role as an Environment Protection Officer, with on-the-job learning, mentoring, and e-learning.
