Role suited to trainee or experienced Dispensing Opticians registered with the GOC

Join our family‑oriented practice at Specsavers, Dumfries. We are seeking a forward‑thinking Dispensing Optician to help deliver an excellent experience to our patients. The role will also support trainee Dispensing Opticians issued with GOC registration.

As the face of our clinic on the shop floor, our Dispensing Opticians are an integral part of our store management team. We’ll quickly get you up to speed with management responsibilities, and offer ILM courses, pre‑reg supervision, and the Specsavers Partnership Pathway to guide you on your way to becoming a great leader.

We are passionate about clinical development and will support you with extra courses and specialisms. If you have aspirations to become a Contact Lens Optician, we’ll help you achieve that goal.
