We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Frailty Team in Dumfries. This ongoing, full-time locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £35.00 and the opportunity to develop your expertise in frailty services within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
You will contribute to enhancing patient experiences across front door, care of the elderly (COE), and Frailty pathways, while collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert occupational therapy services as part of the Frailty team.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised treatment programmes for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and support the training and mentoring of junior staff.
- Travel between community sites, requiring a valid driving licence and reliable transport.
