• Perform and independently report a full range of musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations, including shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot
• Assess soft tissue structures such as tendons, ligaments, muscles, bursae, and joints to identify conditions including tears, tendinopathy, bursitis, synovitis, and effusions
• Apply advanced clinical judgement to interpret findings, recommend further management or investigations, and escalate urgent findings appropriately
• Work collaboratively with referring clinicians, physiotherapists, orthopaedics, and rheumatology teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Deliver a compassionate and professional ultrasound service, maintaining patient comfort and adhering to safety protocols
• Contribute to service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior sonographers and trainees, promoting best practice and professional development
• Engage in CPD, appraisal, and revalidation activities to maintain high professional standards
