We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Frailty Team in Dumfries. This full-time, ongoing locum role offers an excellent opportunity to support Frailty and Hospital at Home services
, delivering high-quality physiotherapy care within community settings.
You will play a key role in supporting older adults to maintain independence, prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, and promote safe, effective care closer to home. This role is ideal for a physiotherapist who enjoys autonomous working while remaining closely integrated with multidisciplinary hospital and community teams.

Key responsibilitiesProvide physiotherapy input within the Frailty Team, with a focus on Hospital at Home services.
Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop tailored rehabilitation and treatment plans.
Deliver physiotherapy interventions within community settings, supporting older adults with complex needs.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
Contribute to care planning aimed at reducing hospital admissions and supporting early discharge.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in line with HCPC standards and best practice.
RequirementsHCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent.
Ability to work independently within community settings.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Strong communication, organisational, and clinical reasoning skills.
