Theatre Healthcare Assistant (HCA) — Weekends Only - Scotland
HB-795708 Dumfries £200.00 - £250.00 / Day
Pay rate: £225.00 per day

Weekends only — Saturday & Sunday, 08:00–18:00]

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Theatre HCA to join our weekend in sourcing team, supporting elective surgical and General lists for our client based in Scotland. This is a great opportunity for an HCA who wants flexible weekend work with a well established in sourcing provider, helping to reduce patient waiting lists.
What you'll be doing- Preparing theatres, equipment and instrumentation ahead of surgical lists
- Supporting the scrub and circulating team throughout procedures
- Assisting with patient positioning, transfer and post-op recovery support
- Maintaining stock levels, cleanliness and infection control standards
- Working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre nursing staff to keep lists running efficiently
- Previous experience as a Theatre HCA/ODP support worker in an NHS or private hospital setting
- Sound understanding of aseptic technique and infection control
- Current PVG (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
