Renal Dialysis Nurse - Band 5

Medics Pro are seeking experienced Renal Dialysis Nurses
- Band 5/6 with recent NHS experience, who are looking for a line of work at Mountainhall Treatment Centre.

This opportunity is to cover Monday
- Sunday, day shifts, during the hours of  or .

• Administer dialysis therapy using Fresenius, Nikisso, or other approved machines
• Monitor vital signs, assess access (AVF, CVC), and identify signs of infection or complications
• Administer prescribed medicines in line with NMC standards and Trust policy
• Operate and maintain dialysis equipment, ensuring sterility and safety
• Recognise changes in patient condition and elevate appropriately
• Develop and implement care plans in partnership with patients and carers
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members (e.g., renal dietitian, psychologist)
• Educate patients and families about kidney disease, dialysis, and lifestyle changes
• Competent in haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and empathy skills
• Ability to work flexibly, including on call rotations
• Knowledge of NMC standards, Trust policies, and evidence based renal care practice
