An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Allied Health Professions Team at Midpark Hospital in this newly developed Band 5 Physiotherapy post. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career within a specialist inpatient mental health setting while gaining experience across a wide range of physical health and rehabilitation needs.

Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy interventions to patients with complex physical and mental health needs. You will manage a delegated caseload under the supervision of the Band 7 Physiotherapist, prioritising workload effectively and adapting treatment plans independently within your scope of practice.

We are seeking an HCPC-registered Physiotherapist who is enthusiastic, flexible and committed to delivering person-centred care. Excellent communication and team-working skills are essential, alongside a willingness to learn and develop within a supportive clinical environment.

Midpark Hospital is an 85-bedded inpatient mental health hospital comprising six specialist wards, including:

• Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit (IPCU)
• Adult Acute Admission Wards
• Older Adult Acute Admission Wards
• Specialist Dementia Assessment and Treatment Ward
• Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit

This varied clinical environment offers an exceptional opportunity to develop expertise across a broad range of areas, including rehabilitation, mobility assessment, falls prevention, frailty, dementia care, long-term condition management and physical health optimisation within mental health services.

No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for a Physiotherapist who enjoys variety, challenge and the opportunity to work holistically with patients throughout their recovery journey.
