Arnold Clark Dumfries is looking for a Used Vehicle Preparation Mechanic.

We’re on the lookout for skilled mechanics with at least two years’ experience to work on an exciting range of makes and models. Whether it’s servicing, repairs, or maintenance, you’ll be part of a talented team, expanding your expertise and gaining industry-recognised qualifications.

• Conducting vehicle inspections and diagnostics
• Recording inspections digitally
• Performing routine servicing and maintenance tasks
• Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and customer handovers
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and industry standards
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed

The skills and qualities you need…

• Experience– Minimum oftwo yearsin a vehicle workshop environment
• Qualifications– At least
  
  Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Skills– Strong understanding of servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
• Team player– Ability to work independently and alongside others
• Attention to detail– A proactive approach to every task
• Full UK driving licence
