Are you an experienced senior property leader who can combine strategic vision, strong governance and a genuine commitment to excellent tenant experience? Loreburn is looking for an Executive Director of Property Services to lead our Property Services Directorate and help shape the future of our homes, communities and asset base.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working as a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide strategic leadership across asset management, investment, repairs, compliance, health and safety, development and sustainability. This is a high‑profile role with responsibility for ensuring our homes are safe, well maintained, affordable in use and fit for the future.
You will lead the development and delivery of Loreburn’s Asset Management Strategy, oversee high‑performing property and in‑house repairs services, and provide clear assurance to the Chief Executive, Executive Team and Management Committee. You will also support acquisitions and development opportunities that strengthen communities across Dumfries and Galloway, particularly in rural locations.
We are looking for someone who can lead with confidence, build strong relationships and create the conditions for others to succeed. You will bring significant senior‑level experience in asset management, compliance, investment and property services, alongside strong financial, risk, contract management and performance management skills.
The successful candidate will be a visible, credible and values‑led leader who can coach and support Heads of Service, promote accountability, encourage collaboration and drive continual improvement. You will understand the importance of high‑quality services, strong regulatory compliance and meaningful tenant engagement, and you will be comfortable operating at Board and Executive level.
At Loreburn, our GREAT values guide how we work:
Growth Mindset, Respectful, Exceptional Tenant Experience, Accountable and Together. We are looking for someone who can bring these values to life through visible leadership, sound judgement and a strong commitment to delivering GREAT services and GREAT places to live.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, generous annual leave, pension contributions, flexible working options, wellbeing support, paid volunteering days, learning and development opportunities, professional fee support and a benefits package designed to support a healthy work‑life balance.
If you are ready to bring strategic leadership, professional expertise and positive energy to a role that makes a real difference for tenants and communities, we would welcome your application.
