Fabricator​/Welder

Homer Burgess Ltd, a family‑run company part of RSK Group, is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Dumfries, Scotland. The role involves fabrication and welding of a wide range of components to customer specifications while complying with company commercial, quality and safety procedures.

• Manufacture components in accordance with customer requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Apply the most efficient manufacturing methods.
• Perform self‑inspection of own work in accordance with the QMS.
• Conduct final inspection of manufactured components as stipulated by management.
• Follow company health & safety requirements, including housekeeping, PPE and machinery operations.

• Time‑served tradesperson or equivalent experience.
• Broad experience in fabrication with ability to apply experience to new jobs.
• Competent in MIG welding; TIG welding experience is beneficial.
• Capable of working to tight fabrication tolerances.
• Strong problem‑solving and on‑the‑feet thinking skills.
• Supportive of company policies, QM & H&S systems, and values of integrity, fairness & honesty.
• Flexible approach to work and able to work well under pressure.
