Dental Nurse Training Wing

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our Public Dental Service (PDS) and provide patient‑centred dental support for Dental and Therapy students at Dumfries Dental Centre. Occasional coverage at other outlying clinics may be required.

Provide dental nursing support to clinicians and patients, including special‑care patients, and assist two clinicians simultaneously where required.

Work to achieve common team goals while taking initiative.

Participate in the on‑call rota for weekend emergency clinics.

Relevant clinical experience as a Dental Nurse and a NEBDN qualification or SVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing.

Registration with the GDC as a Dental Nurse.

Sound knowledge and understanding of health and safety requirements within a clinical environment.
