Delivery Driver / General Assistant

We are looking for a part‑time permanent Delivery Driver / General Assistant to join the team at Garden Wise Garden Centre.

The hours for this position are 24 per week over 3 days (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday). Our competitive rate is £12.75 per hour. You must be 25 years or over due to insurance restrictions.

As a Delivery Driver / General Assistant you will carry out customer deliveries ensuring safe vehicle operation and excellent customer skills will be essential for this role.

• Carrying out customer deliveries
• Till operation and serving customers when required
• Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
• Merchandising stock
• Other duties associated with a retail environment

• Strong customer service skills
• Full understanding of safe warehouse operation and manual handling
• Forklift licence and driving licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail when checking stock
